Catherine Angeline Scott, 87, of Niles died at 3:20PM Friday January 3, 2014 at her residence.

She was born May 7, 1926 in Niles the daughter of Samuel and Margaret Corso DePasquale.

Catherine was a prep cook at Alberini's Restaurant for 25 years retiring in 1986, a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed cooking, Sunday dinner, watching football, and avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan.

Her husband Earl W. Scott whom she married July 1, 1948 died December 25, 1985.

Catherine, who was truly a servant, always doing things for other people, will be deeply missed by two sons, Arthur Scott and his wife Pam of Howland, James Scott and his wife Sandy of Niles, a brother Anthony DePasquale of Girard, a sister Sadie Pepe of Niles, four grandchildren, Melissa DeFalco, Michele Glass, Michael Scott, and Melanie Jarvis, and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call Sunday from 3 to 6PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with The Mount Carmel Bereavment Ministry conducting prayers at 5:30PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Monday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles with Fr. John Michael Lavelle officiating, preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery
