Charles L. "Chuck" Jones Jr., 67, of Niles, passed away on Tuesday October 8, 2024 at his residence. He was born March 6, 1957 in Warren the son of Charles and Dorothy May Finnerty Jones Sr. He was a 1975 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and The Illinois Job Core where he learned how to weld. Chuck was employed at RMI Titanium as a crane man and roller for 36 years retiring in 2017, enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, and gardening. He will be sadly missed by his wife Betty Jean Fox Jones whom he married August 1, 1980, two sons Chuck Jones and his wife Sherry of Howland, David Jones and his wife Allison of Niles, a daughter Dorothy Gibson and her fiancée John Rocco of Niles, a brother Rich Jones and his wife Penny of Champion, two sisters Marlene of Girard and Suzy of Warren, and four grandchildren, MaKenzie, Sam, Carmen, and Airiana. He was preceded in death by a brother Bob Jones, and a sister Jennifer. Friends may call Tuesday from 10am to Noon at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
