Charles A. Lang, 67, of Niles, OH died at 8:53AM Saturday April 30, 2011, at Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles, OH.

He was born April 28, 1944 in Sharon, PA. He was the son of Quimby and Ruth (McLaughlin) Lang.

Chuck was a 1962 graduate of Sharpsville High School, a graduate of Trumbull Memorial Hospital Radiology School, employed at RMI for 2 years, and was director of Medical Imaging at Trumbull Memorial Hospital for 30 years before retiring in 1997.

He was a member of the St. Stephen Catholic Church in Niles, OH, Niles Knights of Columbus Council 1681 Third Degree, Tri County Society of Radiologic Technology, Ohio Society of Radiologic Technology, American Society of Radiologic Technology and American Society of Radiologic Technologists.

In his later years he enjoyed playing cards, attending Niles SCOPE and loved riding with his grandchildren on his scooter all over Niles. He also was avid at golfing, camping, boating, water skiing and playing the organ.

Chuck was known as PAPA to his grandchildren who were the loves of his life. He will be deeply missed by his wife Luanna (Frasca) Lang whom he married July 9, 1966, two sons Mark Lang and his wife Pam of Cortland, OH and Brad Lang and his wife Lucinda of McDonald, OH and three grandchildren, Alyssa Lang, Jonathan Lang, and Joshua Lang.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Willard Lang and Ronald Lang.

Friends may call from 5PM to 8PM Tuesday at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles, OH where the Niles Knights of Columbus will conduct prayers at 7:30PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Wednesday at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Niles, OH with Fr. Thomas Kraszewski officiating preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
