Connie L. Peel, 89, of Niles, formerly of Youngstown,Ohio, died at 3:28PM Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Hospice of The Valley Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.

She was born June 1, 1920 in Youngstown the daughter of John and Josephine Spagnola Tarantino.

Connie was employed at various places thoughout her life but most recently as a door greeter at Sams Club in Niles.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Youngstown, its Mother of The Crucifix, and enjoyed bingo, reading, and working.

Her husband Henry Peel whom she marred June 24, 1939, died June 4, 1986.

She will be deeply missed by two daughters Eleanor Riviella of Niles and JoAnn Wallow and her husband Robert of Atlanta, Ga., three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a brother Patsy Tarantino, three sisters, Sadie Ross, Elizabeth Taraszewski, and Madeline Infante, and a son-in-law Rocci Riviella.

Memorial Mass will be held 10AM Monday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Youngstown with Monsignor Michael Cariglio officiating.The family will receive friends following the service at the lunch in the church hall.
