Daniel J. Peterson, 73, of Howland Township, died at 12:40PM Saturday January 27, 2018 at St. Joseph's Warren Hospital.

He was born August 20, 1944 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the son of George and Helen Mazur Peterson.

Daniel was employed as a crane man at LTV-WCI Steel retiring in 2002 and enjoyed casino trips.

His wife Annamarie Fetch Peterson died in 1980.

He will be sadly missed by his daughter Laurissa Cheeks and her husband Dan of Niles, a brother Kenny Peterson of Oregon, four grandchildren, Danelle Cochran of Niles, Lucas Cheeks of Niles, Jared Cheeks of Niles, and Megan Cheeks of Niles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
