David N. McCloskey, 74 of Niles went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 8:43PM Saturday January 13, 2018 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren.

He was born December 6, 1943 in Weathersfield Township. He was the son of George P. and  Marion Dellinger McCloskey.

David attended Niles McKinley High School. He was  employed at U.S. Steel McDonald Works, was an oil rig worker for Armstrong Drilling,  and was a self-employed plasterer retiring in 2006.

He was a member of The John D. Massey Army Navy Garrison 422 in Girard. He enjoyed fishing, casino trips, flea markets and garage sales. He loved to work on cars, and could fix anything.

Loving memories will be carried out by his companion, Sandra Vigorito, and their beloved dog Hershey, two daughters, Theresa Rohland and her husband George of Niles and Maria Laskay of Niles, two brothers, George McCloskey of Niles and Dale McCloskey, three sisters, Char Barrett, Mickie Moore, and June Mariani, grandsons Robert, Anthony, Matthew, Michael and great-grandson Carter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Joseph Vigorito and Dominic Vigorito, four brothers, Dickie McCloskey, Donny McCloskey, Ronnie McCloskey, and Terry McCloskey, and two sisters, Marian McCloskey and Susan Erwin.

Friends may call two hours prior to the 3:00PM memorial service Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
