A private service will be held for Della Marie Sypert, 83, of Niles who passed away Tuesday March 11th at Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles surrounded by her family.

She was born October 13, 1930 the daughter of the late Gus and Ann LeCursi.

Della graduated from Niles High School.  She retired from Packard Electric in Warren where she worked for many years. Della was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Niles. Throughout her life, Della enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening and baking. Her homemade pizza and pork turnovers will be greatly missed by all.

Her husband Raymond P. Sypert Sr. whom she married July 1, 1950 died June 4, 2007. Della and Ray shared over 50 years together and enjoyed numerous weekend excursions to different places.

Della will be deeply missed by three sons Raymond P. Sypert Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Cortland, David F. Sypert and his wife Janet of Boardman, Nicky A. Sypert at home, four grandchildren Jodi Clark and her husband Chad, Dr. David F. Sypert and his wife Jessica, Amber Marshall and her husband Dustin, Michael Sypert, Staci Sypert, and four great-grandchildren Gavin, Kamryn, Madisyn and Sophia.

She was preceded in death by three brothers Nicky, Marshall and Marty LeCursi and one sister Marie Verina.

The family would like to give a special thanks to their extended family, the staff and everyone at Autumn Hills Care Center and Harbor Light Hospice staff for all of their care and support.
