Dolores M. Lackey, 82, of Howland, died Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren. She was born August 20, 1942 in Warren, the daughter of John and Barbara Volarich Chuirrazzi. Dolores was a 1960 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and was employed at Children's Rehabilitation Center in Howland as a secretary for over 50 years, retiring in 2020. She was a member of Saint Pope John the 23rd Parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel campus in Niles and Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She also enjoyed baking, especially making her Christmas cookie trays that she happily gave away to family and friends. Her husband, William H. Lackey, whom she married February 5, 1966 died September 27, 2022. She will be deeply missed by her son William  M. Lackey of Warren, two daughters Jennifer Lackey (Jamie Moseley) of Lordstown, Kristen Ripple (Brian) of Lordstown, her brother John "Butch" Chuirrazzi  of Girard, three grandchildren, Joshua Lackey (Paige), Kaili Ripple (Robert Turner), Kelsey Ripple and two great-grandchildren Myles and Lincoln Lackey. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister in law Linda Chuirazzi. Friends may call 4-6pm Friday November 29th at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10am Saturday November 30th at Saint Pope John the 23rd Parish,Our Lady of Mount Carmel campus in Niles preceded by a 9:30 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
