Obituary

Dorothy M. Wills, 80, of Niles, died at 5:45AM Wednesday May 29, 2013 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

She was born November 10, 1932 in Niles to her father and mother, Fred K. and Sara E. Keeley Wills.

She was a 1950 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and was employed for 31 years as an operator at United Telephone Company, retiring in 1984. Dorothy was of the Presbyterian faith, a member of the Warren/John Zampedro Telephone Pioneer Club, a volunteer for The Warren Salvation Army Kitchen and bagged jelly beans for the Hillside's Children Rehab for Easter.

She enjoyed working in her yard, walking daily, remaining active in animal charities and was in the 21-gallon blood donor club for The Red Cross. She was an avid fan of The Brooklyn Dodgers and enjoyed traveling to New York to see the Brooklyn Bridge and the Dodgers play throughout her life.

She will be deeply missed by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, friends, and her dog Geo.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Warren C. Wills, Howard Wills, and Robert Wills, and two sisters, Winifred Wills, and Letha Jane Sullinger.

Funeral services were private.

Burial was in Niles City Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
