NILES - Ed Eck, 64, died Sunday May 1, 2016, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 10, 1951, in Girard, the son of Ralph and Lola Beck Eck
He was a graduate of Girard High School and a self-employed jeweler. In retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, and antique cars.
His wife, Margaret Totten, whom he married in 2003, died Feb. 12, 2013.
He will be deeply missed by two sons, Christopher Powers and his wife, Patrisia of Charleston, S.C. and Bradley Powers of Charleston; a stepson, Kristopher Totten of Land O' Lakes, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Jami O' Toole and her husband, Ryan of Austin, Texas; six grandchildren, Caitlyn O'Toole, Delaney O'Toole, Krsitian O'Toole, Hannah Powers, Lily Powers, and Jeremiah Powers.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Memorial service. Thursday, at the Joseph Rossi & Sons Funeral Home in Niles, with Pastor Nathan Howe officiating.
