Effie May Blystone, 90, of Newton Falls, returned to her loving husband, Kenneth R. Blystone Sr. on Wednesday, January 5, 2011.

She was born September 26, 1920 in German Township, Pennsylvania the daughter of George Washington and Marie Snyder Utterback.

Effie was employed for 23 years as a department manager at Higbee's Department Store in Cleveland before retiring in 1979.

She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, sewing, and baking.

Her husband Kenneth R. Blystone Sr. whom she married September 26, 1938 died October 29, 1985.

She will be deeply missed by her son Kenneth R. Blystone Jr. and his wife Janice of Silver Springs, Florida, two brothers, George E. Utterback of Cleveland, and Joseph Utterback and his wife Flo of Pittsburgh, three sisters, Rose Gralka and her husband Stan of Warren, Elsie Zollar and her husband Dan of Mentor, and Linda Merriman and her husband Donald of Olmsted Twp, a daughter in law, Carol Blystone of Niles, a son-in-law George Champion of Cleveland, nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a son William H. Blystone, a daughter, Nancy Marie Champion, and a brother Donald R. "Buzzy" Utterback Sr, and two sisters, Frances Prokop, and Jane Jones

Funeral Services will be held 11AM Saturday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Rev. Larry Wade officiating.

Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
