Eleanor D'Antuono, 97, of Niles, passed away on Wednesday January 22, 2025 at her residence. She was born July 3, 1927 in Niles the daughter of Dominic and Filomena LaSalandra D'Antuono. Eleanor attended Niles City Schools and was a 1945 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. She was employed by Sears-Eastwood in the accounting offices and retired after 37 years of service with the company. Eleanor was of The Roman Catholic faith and a member of Saint Pope John XXIII Catholic Church-Our Lady of Mount Carmel Campus. She will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Louis Muche, Anthony D'Antuono, and Samuel D'Antuono, and four sisters, Regina Paris, Mary Pavone, Phyllis Antonelli, and Tomasina Naples. There are no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend her mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 11AM at Saint Pope John XXIII-Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Campus, with Rev. Ronald Nuzzi officiating. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
