Eleanor Patrone, 85, of Girard, died January 1, 2017 at St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Youngstown.

She was born July 12, 1931 in Valsinni, Italy the daughter of Joseph and Philomena Guerra Liguori coming to The United States in 1949 on Christmas Eve being met in New York by her cousins, The Guerra Family from Niles.

She was employed in central services at St. Elizabeth's Health Center for 32 years, a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard, The Girard Senior Center, enjoyed traveling, and baking. She enjoyed going on adventures with her son and daughter in law. She however did not enjoy the Chinese food. She also enjoyed spending time with her great granddaughter Kylie.

Her husband Ralph E. Patrone Sr. whom she married June 27, 1953 died March 12, 2009.

She will be deeply missed by two sons, Anthony Patrone and his wife Mary Ellen with whom she made her home in Girard and Ralph E. Patrone Jr. of Niles. She is survived by two brothers, Dominic Liguori of Niles being the oldest and Fabian Liguori and his wife Francis of Niles being the youngest, five grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, Byrant, Ashley, David and Kirsten. Also seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Liguori and Gino Liguori.

Friends may call Thursday from 10 to 11AM at St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Thursday at St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard.

Burial will be in Tod Cemetery in Youngstown.

Eleanor's sons would like to gratefully acknowledge and thank Mary Ellen for the wonderful care and compassion that she gave Eleanor in her final years.
