Eleanor L. Popovic, 85, of Warren, passed away on Wednesday April 3, 2024 surrounded by family and friends She was born November 3, 1938 in Swissvale, Pennsylvania the daughter of John and Helen Harvan Bodner. Eleanor was a 1956 graduate of Swissvale High School and was Vice President of Senior Services at TCAP for 20 years retiring in 2018. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Warren, Howland Athletic Club, enjoyed arranging flowers, spending time and supporting her grandchildren's activities, cooking, and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Her husband Bernard "Bernie" Popovic  whom she married August 29, 1959 died November 28, 2022. She will be deeply missed by a son Denis Popovic of Warren, three daughters, Diane Popovic(John) of Detroit, Michigan, Karin Popovic of Chicago, Illinois, and Kathi Krok(Michael) of Niles, a brother John Bodner of Chicago, a sister Joanne Cicco of Pittsburgh, five grandchildren, Nicholas Kutcher(Karel), Eric Popovic, Andrew Kutcher, Kaleb Krok, and Tristin Popovic, and a great-grandson Reef Kutcher-Routhier. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Delucia. Friends may call from 5 to 7PM Monday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Chaplain Ryan Ervin officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
