Elizabeth R. "Betty " Rose, 82, of Niles died at 11:35AM Friday August 8. 2014 at St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Youngstown.
She was born June 23, 1932 in Lorain, Ohio the daughter of John and Barbara Glover McGibbon.
Elizabeth was a graduate of Lorain High School and employed as a sales clerk at Carlisle's Department Store for 15 years. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church of Niles, Niles Senior Center, and enjoyed knitting, picture and crossword puzzles.
Her husband James E. Rose whom she married September 6, 1950 died March 16, 1999.
Elizabeth, who was a loving and caring mother and always said "When you pass, all is forgiven", will be deeply missed by two sons William Rose, at home and James "Chip" Rose and his wife Connie of Woodstock, Georgia, and two grandchildren, Anna Yoder and Robby Rose.
She was preceded in death by a son Robert Rose and a sister Elna Craig.
Friends may call from 3 to 6PM Sunday and 12 to 1PM Monday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Funeral Services will be held 1PM Monday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Rev. Jamie Milton officiating.
Burial will be held in Crown Hill Cemetery in Vienna.
