Ewfruzyna "Roseanna" Janiw, 96, of Niles, Ohio, died Friday, February 11, 2011 at her sister's residence in Austintown.

She was born February 27, 1914 in Ukraine the daughter of John and Catherine Kostur Janiw.

She was a member of St. Peter & Paul Ukranian Orthodox Church in Youngstown, The St. Peter & Paul Ukranian Sisterhood, a homemaker, and enjoyed needlework.

Her husband John "Jan" Janiw whom she married June 1, 1936 died February 12, 1986.

She will be deeply missed by two sisters Anna Hyt of Austintown and Nancy Janiw of Ukraine.

She is preceded in death by three brothers, Peter Janiw, Michael Janiw, and Nicholas Janiw and a sister Mary Janiw.

Friends may call from 3 to 5PM Monday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where a Panichida Prayer Service will be held at 3PM.

Funeral Services will be held 10AM Tuesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Father John Harvey officiating.
