Frank E. McKahan, 82, of Niles, died at 4:01PM Sunday December 11, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

He was born October 8, 1934 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania the son of Charles and Mary Cunningham McKahan.

He was a 1953 graduate of Center Township High School, employed at Alcoa in Cleveland as a heat treater for 33 years, a member of Brookside Masons #747, and a United States Army Veteran having been stationed in Ft. Knox and Germany.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Mary Lou Farris McKahan whom he married April 13, 1957, three daughters, Sherry Fogleman and her husband Ken of Freedom, Ohio, Cheryl Dysert and her husband Tim of Fairview Park, Ohio, and Cindy Frank and her husband Ti of Garrettsville, Ohio, two brothers, Guy McKahan of Front Royal, Virginia and Ivan McKahan of Front Royal, Virginia, a sister Genevieve Hupp of Elyria, Ohio, and three grandchildren, Dylan Frank, Dakota Frank, and Bianca Ragone.

He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
