Gary N. "Duke" Curry, 75, of Niles died on Tuesday October 21, 2014 at his residence.

He was born August 30, 1939 in Hohenwald, Tennessee the son of James and Eula Smith Curry.

Gary was employed on The Pennsylvania Railroad, RMI, worked on barges on The Gulf of Mexico and The Persian Gulf, a truck driver for several trucking companies including PI & I and Roadway, and also worked on The Alaskan pipeline.

He was a member of Niles Christian Assembly,enjoyed John Wayne Movies, loved  The History Channel, and was a United States Army Paratrooper.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Barbara Hunyady Curry whom he married March 28, 1960, three sons Frank Curry and his wife Mona of Anchorage, Alaska, Brett Curry and his wife Diane of Portland, Oregon, and Bart Curry and his wife Lori of Mentor, Ohio, a sister Lola Masciangelo and her husband Alfred of Warren, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Lee Curry, two brothers, Frank Curry, and Jesse Curry, and three sisters, Hessie Young, Ernestine Curry, and Imogene Ramer.

Friends may call Friday from 5 to 7PM and Saturday from 10 to 11AM  at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Funeral Services  will be held at 11AM Saturday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Pastor John Mizgerd officiating.
