Gary M. Zill, 72, of Girard, passed away on Wednesday April 23, 2025 at Hospice of The Valley Hospice House in Poland surrounded by his loving wife at his side. He was born September 9, 1952 in Warren the son of Anthony and Delores Ruffo Zill. Gary was a 1970 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and was employed as a cutter at Republic Steel and Taylor Steel for 20 years. He was a member of Saint Pope John XXIII Parish-Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Campus, enjoyed watching sports, music, hunting, a gun smith, and loved spending time with his wife and his dog Hayley. He will be deeply missed by his mother of Homosassa, Florida, his wife Mary Ellen Wieda Zill whom he married May 28, 1977, and a sister Linda Zill of Julian, California. He is preceded in death by his father and a sister Tiona Kline. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Hospice of The Valley Hospice House for their kind and compassionate care for Gary.
