Georgene D. Veney, 56, of Niles, passed away at 6:45PM Sunday December 6, 2020 at her residence. She was born May 29, 1964 in Bay City, Michigan the daughter of William and Laura Stanley Mitchell. Georgene was a homemaker, enjoyed crochet, the Christmas Holidays, watching the tv show Frasier, and playing Words with friends. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Annie Smith and her husband Adam of Niles, her son Paul Brock and his wife Samantha of Warren, a brother Robert Mitchell of Indianapolis, Indiana, three sisters, Sandra Jones and her husband Pete of Bargersville, Indiana, Dorothy Couch and her husband Edward of Nashville, Indiana, and Lorie Western and her husband Peter of Indianapolis, Indiana, and two grandchildren Mathew Brock and Gary Watson Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents. Cremation has taken place. There are no services at this time. Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home.
