Guy Alan Smith, age 67, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025, in Niles, Ohio. Born on February 16, 1957, Guy lived a life filled with passion, creativity, and love for his family and friends. A devoted husband and friend, Guy pursued a rewarding career in the culinary arts, sharing his talents and love for food with all who knew him. Beyond the kitchen, he found joy in the universal language of music, enjoying genres of all kinds. An avid golfer and fisherman, Guy cherished the time spent outdoors, reveling in the peace and camaraderie these pastimes brought. Guy is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia Edna Smith, and their four children: Geoffrey (40), Katherine (38), Emily (35), and Patrick (32). He is also survived by his sisters, Cheryl and Brenda, and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Phyllis Smith, and his sister, Karen. Guy's warmth, humor, and unwavering love will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of kindness and joy will live on in the hearts of those he touched. Private services will be held.
