Helen C. Verina, 93, of Niles died at 10:30AM Sunday May 10, 2015 at Shepherd of The Valley Lutheran Home in Niles.

She was born October 12, 1922 in Campbell, Ohio the daughter of Charles and Christina Dragon Sharbon.

Helen was a 1940 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, employed in The Upholstery Department for Goodwill Industries for 15 years, and enjoyed sewing and traveling.

Her husband Raymond Verina Sr. whom she married died February 6, 1982.

She will be deeply missed by a son Raymond Verina Jr. and his wife Lenna of Vienna, a daughter Corry Decker and her husband Scott of Florida, a sister Cornelia Humble of Canton, two grandchildren Raymond Verina III and his wife Jill and Chelsea Boyles, and three great-grandchildren, Raymond Verina IV, Solitaire Verina, and Sofia Verina.

She was preceded in death by a grandson Michael Verina, three brothers, Jack Sharbon, John Sharbon, and Charles Sharbon, and a sister Mary Petak.

Private funeral services were held.

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
