Henry Liste, 87, of Niles, died at 2:50PM Wednesday May 18, 2016 at Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles.

He was born February 1, 1929 in Niles the son of Pasquale and Antoinette DePasquale Liste.

He was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School, employed at WCI Steel in Warren, formerly Republic Steel, as a steelworker, later retiring in 1993 from the store room after 46 years. He a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed gardening, taking family vacations especially to Conneaut Lake Park and Niagara Falls, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Henry was a United States Army veteran of The Korean War having served in Germany.

His wife Mary Jane Morello Liste whom he married April 16, 1955 died January 6, 2013.

Henry, who had a strong work ethic and was a great provider for his family, will be deeply missed by a daughter Grace Ann Liste of Niles, a son Robert Liste and his wife Melissa of Warren, five grandchildren Joseph Bustos, Maria Bustos, Kristina Liste-Howard and her husband Jeremy, Brent Liste(Gretchen) and Allison Liste, four great-grandchildren, Hailey, McKenzie, Adam, and Skylar, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son  James G. Liste, four brothers, Joseph Liste, James Liste, Dominick Liste, and Louis Liste, and a sister Mary Rein.

Friends may call Saturday from 8:30AM to 9:30AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Niles preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery where Henry will be honored for his military service by The Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.
