Isabel L. Capots, 98, of Niles died at 1:35AM Wednesday August 29, 2012 at Shepherd of The Valley Lutheran Home in Niles.

She was born January 15, 1914 in Niles the daughter of Albert and Mary Guarnieri Guarnieri.

She was a 1933 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, a homemaker, member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, and enjoyed cooking, baking, and traveling.

Her husband John A. Capots whom she married July 18, 1939 died January 20, 1974.

She will be deeply missed by a son Ronald Capots and his wife Emilie of Cortland, a daughter Renee Capots with whom she made her home, a brother Albert Guarnieri of Niles, four grandchildren, John Welday and his wife Lori, Michael Welday and his wife Christine, Marc Capots and his wife Lu, and Matthew Capots and his wife Kathy, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a daughter Donna Jean Welday, and six brothers, Angelo Guarnieri, Anthony Guarnieri, Armond Guarnieri, Joseph Guarnieri, Lawrence Guarnieri, and Arthur Guarnieri, and three sisters, Lena Crish, Ida Caruso, and Viola Papas.

Friends may call 8:30AM to 9:30AM Saturday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles, with Reverend John-Michael Lavelle officiating, preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
