Jacqueline B. "Jackie" Russo,71, of Florida, formerly of Niles,. died Saturday, August 14, 2010, at The Cleveland Clinic.

She was born September 24, 1938 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of Selo and Clara DiMauro Barnabo.

A 1956 graduate of St. Mary's High School in Warren, Jackie was employed in production, as an administrative assistant, and an EAP Counselor at Packard Electric for 30 years before retiring in 1992.

Jackie was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Naples, Florida, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Niles, the Naples Garden Club and the Red Hatters in Naples. She was also a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 35 years and is a former board member of The Youngstown Alcoholics Clinic. In her retirement, Jackie enjoyed gardening, flower arranging, cooking, and shopping.

Jackie, who loved people, her family and life, will be deeply missed by her husband Philip Russo whom she married November 4, 1955, two sons, Stephen Russo and his wife Melanie of Apollo Beach, Florida, Philip Russo and his wife Terri of Naples, Florida, two daughters, Lori Lentz of Naples, Florida and Gina Russo of Niles, a sister Teresa Bryan and her husband Jim of Honolulu, Hawaii, six grandchildren, Jennifer, Ryan, Pamela, Paul, Anthony, and Samantha, and a great-granddaughter, Colleen.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call from 4 to 7PM Wednesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Memorial Services will be held 7PM Wednesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral in Niles, with Rev. Melanie Sunderland officiating.
