James P. Fowler, Sr, of Niles, Ohio unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday December 18, 2018. Jim was born June 22, 1942 in Warren, Ohio the son of Paul and Thelma Cain Fowler, beloved husband of 52 years of his high school sweetheart, Patricia Verina Fowler, father of James Jr., and Patricia Fowler, brother of Gene Fowler, in-law of Michael Verina, Nicholas and Helen Verina. Preceded in death by his son, his parents,, his brother, and his mother and father-in-law. He will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends.

Jim was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and Youngstown State University. He was a corporate accountant with Van Huffel Tube, Wilton Tube, and Sharon Tube. Jim was the owner of Radar Speedball Cards and Comics in Niles.

Jim loved his family, long drives, sitting by the water, holidays, dining and socializing with family and friends. He played, watched sports and had a photographic memory for sport statistics of baseball, football, bowling, golf, basketball, boxing, and ping pong. Jim also loved music, jokes, movies, reading, history, genealogy, news, and current events.

Funeral services will be held Friday December 21, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where family and friends may call at 10:00am, two hours prior to the services which will include the services by Reverend Christopher Stark of The First Christian Church and conclude with Jim being honored for his United States Army military service

Burial to be in Niles City Cemetery.
