James H. Hill, 65, known as "Hog" by those he loved and loved him, passed away May 13, 2011.

He was born May 2, 1946 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, the son of the late Paul Robert and Gertrude Elizabeth Cunningham Hill.

James was retired from Packard Electric/Delphi after 30 years of service. He was also employed by Republic Steel in Niles for 2 years.

James was a graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree Business Administration. He also attended Notre Dame University on a football scholarship. He was a 1964 graduate of Niles McKinley High School in Niles, and was a member of the 1963 Red Dragon Championship football team.

His family was the most important thing in his life. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Mary Lou Marino Hill. He is also survived by his daughter, Lisa Anne Hill November and her husband Geno of McDonald; a son James Todd Hill and his wife Danielle Reier Hill of Atlanta, Georgia; and three grandchildren, Marino November, Luciano November and Liam Hill.

He is also survived by his two brothers, Robert Hill and his wife Virginia Suty Hill of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and Paul Hill and his wife Janet Spalvieri Hill of Altadena, California. His stepmother, Betty Hughes Hill also survives.
