Jamie A. Maffei Irwin, 56, of Niles passed away Thursday October 22, 2015 at Hospice of The Valley Hospice House in Poland with her family by her side.

She was born June 17, 1959 in Warren the daughter of Don and Louise Bottiglieri Maffei.

Jamie was a 1977 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, a certified pre-school teacher at several area schools, was of the catholic faith, and enjoyed crafts, crocheting, gambling, camping, garage sales, sitting by the lake, a beautiful day, and family gatherings.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Jeff Irwin whom she married November 14, 1981, two daughters, Ashley Irwin and Amanda Irwin, both at home, a brother Joseph Maffei and his wife Sherri of Merritt Island, Florida, two sisters, Donna LaBuda and her husband Raymond of Niles and Diane Piacquadio and her husband Joe of Cortland, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 6PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where a family eulogy will take place at 6PM.
