Jean Sokol, 87, of Niles, Ohio died at 1:20PM Sunday October 9, 2011 at Briarfield at The Ridge.

She was born October 14, 1923 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of Sam and Antonetta Cubellis DeFelice.

Jean was last employed in sales at Habers Furniture in New Castle and was of the Catholic Faith.

She will be deeply missed by a son Stanley Sokol Jr. and his wife Joette of Girard,Ohio a daughter Joanne Stalnacker of Boardman, Ohio,two brothers, Nick DeFelice and Sam DeFelice, both of New Castle, two sisters, Ann Hunter of Wampum, Pennsylvania and Connie Taylor of Westfield, Indiana, four grandchildren, Michelle Mugler and her husband Hans, Tina Schneider and her husband Ray, Jay Stalnacker and his wife Kim, and Lindsey Sokol, and a great-grandchild Aspen Stalnacker.

She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley Sokol Sr.and a brother, Carmen DeFelice.
