Jerry R. Majecic, 52, of Howland, died unexpectedly Sunday March 18, 2012 at his residence.

He was born February 2, 1960 in Vienna the son of Frank and Marion Garrard Majecic.

Jerry was a 1978 graduate of Brookfield High School and was previously self-employed as an independent home improvement contractor. He also worked at Vannex Tube prior to his home improvement business.

He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Niles, a Harley motorcycle enthusiast who loved riding with his wife on poker runs, enjoyed working around the house and gardening.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Ann Liguori Majecic whom he married September 16, 1989, his father Frank Majecic of Vienna, a son Joseph Majecic and his wife Donna of Webster, Florida, three brothers, Greg Majecic and his wife Brenda of Vienna, Frank Majecic and his wife JoAnn of Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Michael Majecic of Dublin, Ohio, three grandchildren, three nieces, Melissa and Pamela Majecic, and Maria Thompson, and two nephews Anthony and Vincent Belica. He is preceded in death by his mother Marion, and his nephew Brent Majecic

Friends may call from 5 to 7PM Wednesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mt. Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 6:30PM. Friends may also call from 9 to 10AM Thursday at The funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30AM Thursday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles, with Fr. Nicholas Shori officiating, preceded by a 10AM prayer service at the funeral home.
