Jimmy A. Scott, 80, of Niles, died at 6:27AM Sunday April 8, 2018 at St. Joseph's Warren Hospital.

He was born April 25, 1937 in Warren the son of Arthur and Essie Kelly Scott and raised by his step-mother Hannah Greenfield Scott

Jimmy was a 1956 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, retired as a milright at General Motors Lordstown, member of The United Auto Workers Local 1112 and The Carpenters Union Hall of Warren. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a United States Marine Corp Veteran.

His wife Marlene Danes Scott whom he married February 24, 1965, died March 12, 2016.

He will be sadly missed by his son Michael Scott and his wife Jennifer of Minneapolis, Minnesota, two grandchildren, Jacquelyn Scott and Wyatt Scott, sister-in-law Charlotte Gatta and her husband Dominic of Niles, and nephews Dominic, Samuel, and Vincent Gatta.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Arthur, Harold, Earl, and Asher Scott, and three sisters, Irene Scott, Betty Scott and Sadie Datish.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
