Joan M. Giancola, 80 of Columbiana, Ohio died Monday December 3, 2018 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth's Youngstown Hospital.

She was born August 2, 1938 in Peterborough, Ontario Canada the daughter of Grant and Dorothy Hall Gillespie.

She was a 1956 High School graduate and employed as a secretary for 25 years at Sainato Motors in Warren retiring in 2000. Joan was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Columbiana, enjoyed golfing, playing cards, Hospice volunteer, and a volunteer for The V.A. in Asheville, North Carolina.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Angelo Giancola whom she married May 2, 2002, and a sister Nancy Shaw and her husband Matt of Peterborough, Ontario Canada.

Private funeral services have been held.
