First a cook and baker Her food-it was the best The Pizza-at times a little hot Gave all our tongues a test

Next it shows compassion "To offer comfort" is the theme She organized the ministry So effortlessly it seemed

The color blue means something Perhaps not truly meant Her love for The Blessed Virgin Her prayers were heaven sent

As an apron wraps around one And protects while holding tight JoAnn's love embraces all of us And lets our hearts feel bright

May we carry on this ministry That she held so very dear Her apron will remind us of her And help wipe away our tears
