John W. "Jack" Entler, 84, of Niles died 8:08AM Sunday December 29, 2013 at St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Youngstown.
He was born October 12, 1929 in Niles the son of Norbert and Marie Roller Entler.
He was a 1947 graduate of Ursuline High School and employed as a meat cutter at Macali's Market/Giant Eagle for 30 years retiring in 1995.
John was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed golfing, and a United States Naval Veteran of The Korean War.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Norma Macali Entler whom he married July 4, 1956, a daughter Christine Kusznir and her husband John of Palm Bay, Florida, a brother Daniel Entler and his wife Virginia of Lawton, Oklahoma, a sister Elaine Rivera of Niles, and three grandchildren, Tiffany Farah, Ronald Farah, and Jillian Kusznir.
He was preceded in death by a brother Edward Entler.
Friends may call Tuesday from 12-3PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles where The Mt Carmel Bereavement Ministry will conduct prayers at 2:30PM
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles with Father John-Michael Lavelle officiating, preceded by a 9:30AM prayer service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery where John will be honored for his military service by The Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.
Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
