John E. Smith, 75 of Niles died Tuesday December 24, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital Eastland in Warren, Ohio.

He was born May 4, 1938 in Charleston, West Virginia the son of John E. and Bertha Snyder Smith.

John was retired from The United States Army after serving 20 years.

He will be deeply missed by a son, Mark of Georgia, two daughters, Corina and Sabina, both of Germany, and a sister Doris Miller of West Virginia.

Burial will be held in Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock, Virginia

Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
