Josefina A. Carrido, 87, of Lordstown, passed away on Thursday October 13, 2022 at her residence. She was born December 25, 1934 in Cebu City, Philippines the daughter of Agapito and Magdalena Latonio Antigua and came to The United States in 1990. She was a graduate of St. Theresa High School in The Philippines and was employed for the Filipino government by cooking and baking for the needy for 15 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, enjoyed sewing, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, and helping out her children working at flea markets. Her husband Rodolfo Carrido whom she married December 1953 died January 22, 2003. She will be deeply missed by a son Pacheco Carrido of Lordstown, seven daughters, Marela Carrido of Lordstown, Marie Joy Vivares and her husband Ceferino of Pearland, Texas, Merriam Quinto and her husband Constantine of Warren, Judy Bolduc and her husband Paul of Howland, Zerline Carrido of Mandaue City, Philippines, Darlene Briones and her husband Marlon of Labogan City, Philippines, and Pinky Fuchs and her husband Fredrich with whom she made her home, seventeen grandchildren, R.J., Nikki, and Brandon Carrido; Angelo and Erik Carrido ; B.J. and Patsy Vivares; Rodolfo III, Tiny, Sheena, and Nina Carrido; Monic and Maureen Quinto; Matthew Bolduc; Sistine Brione; Fred Rodolfo Fuchs and Grace Faustina Fuchs;  and 14 great-grandchildren, Isabella, Tegan, Sophia, Eli, Aurora, Czar, Aimee, Jacob, Gabe, Briella, Miyake, Kaleb, Lordy, and Madison. She was preceded in death by a son Ronnie Carrido and a brother Dario Antigua. Friends may call Thursday from 9 to 10:30AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral in Niles. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles preceded by a 10:30AM prayer service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Manila Memorial Cemetery in Cebu City Philippines. Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
