Joseph M. Banish, 72, of Niles, died Thursday August 21, 2014 at his residence.

He was born April 4, 1942 in Sharon, Pennsylvania the son of George and Helen Lucas Banish.

Joseph was a 1960 graduate of Sharon High School, employed for 40 years at Delphi Packard Electric in Warren as a tow motor operator retiring in 2005. He was of the Catholic Faith, a member of The Holiday Camplands Association, and enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.

He will be deeply missed by two sons, Michael Banish and his wife Mary Lynn of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Christopher Banish and his wife Rebecca of Conneaut, Ohio, two daughters, Karen Tarbay and her husband Stephen of Niles and Mary Banish of Girard, and eleven grandchildren, William Banish, Anthony Banish, Stephanie Tarbay, Ariel Tarbay, Christin Tarbay, Joseph Tarbay, Katelyn Banish, Alexander Banish, Stephen Stone, Autaum McGuire, and Heaven McGuire.

He was preceded in death by a brother Cyril Banish.

Friends may call from 10 to 12PM Tuesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. Funeral services will be held 12PM Tuesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Deacon Michael Hanshaw officiating.

Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery.
