Joseph C. "Blackie" Pissini Sr. 83, of Niles, Ohio, died at 6:59PM Monday, April 26, 2010, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio

He was born October 23, 1926 in Niles the son of John and Minnie Belcastro Pissini.

He was employed in quality control at RMI Titanium for 37 years before retiring in 1993.

He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Niles , Niles Moose and an United States Naval veteran of World War II and The Korean War.

He enjoyed gardening and high school sports.

His wife Martha Larman Pissini whom he married November 17, 1956, died November 15, 2001.

He will be deeply missed by a son Joseph C. Pissini Jr. of Warren, a daughter Melinda Flanigan and her husband Terrance of Warren, two brothers Donald Pissini of Austintown, and Harry Pissini of Niles.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
