Joseph W. Sosnowski, 41, of Niles, passed away on Sunday June 8, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Joseph's Warren Hospital after a short battle with an aggressive cancer. Joe was born July 8, 1983 in Youngstown and graduated from Niles McKinley High School in 2001. He later went on to Youngstown State University where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and then continued his education to receive his Masters Degree. He was self-employed owner and operator for J.W.S. Tax Prep. Joe was an incredible father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was deeply loved by many. He was the first person to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, had a sense of humor and style that kept everyone laughing, and was a trusted and active member of the community. Joe loved attending concerts with friends and family, playing and coaching soccer, drinking Dunkin Donuts coffee, and most importantly, spending time with his daughter. He was a Captain America enthusiast, a master Lego and puzzle builder, and was able to apply song lyrics to every situation. He lived life fully and brought joy to everyone around him. He will be sadly missed by his father Jeffrey M. Sosnowski of Warren, his mother Faye Jones Renato (Ken) of Howland, his daughter Rylie Sosnowski and her brothers Nico and Dominic Whetstone, two brothers John Profato (Jessica) of Austintown, Josh Sosnowski (Hillary) of Washington State, three sisters Katie Rose (Jake) of Howland, Jessica Profato-Partlow (Philip) of Houston, Texas, Karol Sosnowski of Lyndhurst, maternal grandmother Glennis Jones of Howland, nieces and nephews, Layla, Landyn, Eliana, Kadyn, Isaac, Landon, Alayna, Josh Jr., and Lillian. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Frances Sosnowski, maternal grandfather Homer Jones, and step-mother, Angela Profato-Sosnowski.
