Josephine Foster, 92, of Niles, passed away at 1:12am on Thursday December 5, 2024 at St. Joseph's Warren Hospital. She was born in Warren, Ohio on October 21, 1932 the daughter of Alfred Madison and Edna Mae(Abbott) Whitt. She attended school in Niles, Ohio. She enjoyed crocheting, word search, playing board games, cards, bingo, lottery, and going to the casino. She especially enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren playing baseball and softball. Josephine is survived by her five children, Carl (Nancy) Foster of Florida, James (Becky) Foster of Kinsman, Rodney Foster of Niles, Kimberly(James) Wiery of Niles, and Jay Foster of Niles, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband John E. Foster who passed in 2006, her parents, stepfather, and daughter-in-law. Private funeral services will be held at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles and entombment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Vienna, Ohio. Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
