Josephine M. Guarino, 97, of Niles died at 11:45AM Friday January 11, 2013 at Briarfield atThe Ridge Nursing Home in Mineral Ridge.

She was born December 8, 1915 in Niles the daughter of Carmen and Rachel Donnarummo Villio.

Josephine was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles, a homemaker, and enjoyed crocheting and cooking.

Her husband John S. Guarino whom she married April 25, 1936 died February 3, 2004.

She will be deeply missed by a son Maurice Guarino and his wife Jerrie of Niles, two sisters, Nikki Sussman of Niles and Jenny Rickard of Ontario, California, a granddaughter, Vickie Myers and her husband Jack, six great-grandchildren, Dan Myers, Sonya Myers, Stacia Mueller and her husband Aidan, Aaron Myers, Jack Myers Jr., and Kagan Myers, three great-greatgrandchildren, Ayla Myers, Payton Barhoover, and Aden Testa, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by three brothers, Carmen Vivolo, Anthony Villio, and Sam Villio, and three sisters, Theresa Costello, Louise Andersack, and Mary Villio. Friends may call Monday from 9 to 10AM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Funeral Services will be held 10AM Monday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Father John-Michael Lavelle officiating.

Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
