Julia O. Hecker, 92, of Niles, died at 12:45PM July 14, 2017 at Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles.

She was born September 24, 1924 in Youngstown the daughter of William and Tassie Bodnar Temnick

Julia was a 1942 graduate of Youngstown Chaney High School, a homemaker, and a member of Girard 1'st United Methodist Church.

Her husband Clarence E. Hecker whom she married July 27, 1947 died February 10, 1997.

She will be sadly missed by two sons, Kenneth E. Hecker of Niles and Edward J. Hecker of Warren, two grandchildren, Kimberly E. Barrell and her husband John of Niles and Michael P. Hecker of Niles, three great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kennedy, and Jonathan, and two former daughter in laws, Mary Helen Hecker of Niles and Donna Hecker of Warren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 7PM Monday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles with Pastor Vicky Kelley officiating.

Burial will be in Girard City Cemetery.
