Kelly Stuart Newbrough, 57, of Niles, passed away on Sunday May 12, 2024 at The Cleveland Clinic. He was born March 21, 1967 in Warren the son of James and Jenny Crockett Newbrough Sr. Kelly was a 1985 graduate of Niles McKinley High School where he played offensive and defensive tackle for The Red Dragons football team. He was a graduate of Empire State University with a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, He  later went on to receive his Masters in Education from Potsdam University, and later his Juris Doctorate from The University of Akron. Kelly began as a math teacher in Texas and Ohio before becoming an attorney and starting the Law Office of Kelly Newbrough. He was loved by his clients, known as caring, funny and going above and beyond for them. Kelly was so proud of his daughter Livi, as she recently became an architect. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Niles, ITAM 39, an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed biking, swimming, spending time with his dogs, and watching The Amazing Race with his family.He was a United States Army veteran, serving as a sergeant during Desert Storm, having been stationed in Germany. He will be deeply missed by his mother of Niles, his wife Teresa Varasso Newbrough whom he married July 10, 1993, his daughter Olivia Marie Newbrough of Niles, three brothers James Newbrough Jr. and his wife Becky of Niles, Mark Newbrough of Mineral Ridge, Gary Newbrough of Niles, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, a nephew Gary Newbrough II, and a niece Sarah Newbrough. Friends may call Thursday May 16th from 5-7pm at the Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 am Friday May 17 th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery where Kelly will be honored for his military service by The Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard. Arrangements are being handled by The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
