Obituary

Lawrence "Larry" Carbone 67, of Brookfield passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 6, 1957, the son of Louis and Evelyn Tisone Carbone. Larry was a 1975 graduate of John F. Kennedy high school. He always had dreams of being an architect, but his love for his father overwhelmed him so much to the point where he followed his father's footsteps and mastered the fine art of being a plumber, just like his father. Once he graduated he was employed at General Motors where he began working through the plumbers pipefitters fitters union. He later went on to work full time with his family at Carbone Plumbing, as a master plumber and also taught Boiler Classes at ETI.

Larry's deep passion for baseball turned into a life of mentoring  the youth through sports with both the Niles and Warren Youth Leagues. He went above and beyond just teaching them how to swing a bat & most importantly, he taught them how to be consistent and hustle on and off of the field no matter what the conditions whether the team was down 10 points or up 10 points hustle on the field was just one of his many mottos.

Larry was a huge fan of baseball, a huge fan of the Indians, but most importantly he was a huge fan of his family. Nothing in this world could ever get in the way of his love for his family and it was evident. From taking his granddaughter Isabella to every one of her father daughter dances to showing up and supporting the kids at every sporting event. He was a great man, but most importantly he was an even greater father and husband. One of his most beautiful gifts with his ability to be there for everybody at the same time and that's a gift that can never be replaced. In his spare time he loved to golf with his colleagues and always had a great time.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Nancy Carbone whom he married September 2, 2005, a son Scott Carbone and his wife Marci of Niles, five daughters, Takesha "Nicki" Cross-Carbone Hopkins of Liberty, Sarah Carbone of Girard, Stephanie Caswell of Niles, Lauren Dempsey (Joe) of Leavittsburg, Megan Caswell of Niles, two brothers, Lew Carbone Jr. and his wife Kathy of Norwalk, and Lennie Carbone of Norton, 14 grandchildren, Lorenzo, Alasia, Christopher, Bryson, Jonathan, Noah, Samantha, Evelina, Isabella, Ryan, Landon, Aiden, Jaleel, and Doug, and 2 great grandchildren, Charlotte and Lorenzo Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents.
