Lena Ann Nemes, 82, of Niles died 4:15AM Tuesday June 5, 2012 at her residence.

She was born November 13, 1929 in Warren the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Coates Soda.

She was a 1947 graduate of Niles McKinley High School, employed at Kings Department Store, and as an aide at St. Joseph's Hospital and Shepherd of The Valley Nursing Home.

Lena was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Niles, enjoyed cooking and cleaning.

Her husband Nicholas J. Sudano Sr. whom she married June 24 1950 died March 1 1976.

She will be deeply missed by a son Nicholas J. Sudano and his wife Sharon of Niles, a daughter Kathleen Wilson and her husband Alan of Plain City, Ohio, a brother Joseph Soda Jr. of Niles, two sisters, Marie Melillo of Girard and Della Williams of Niles, five grandchildren, Nicole Wilson, Kelly Sackett and her husband Jeffrey, Sarah Sudano, Nicholas R. Sudano, and Trevor Sudano.

She is preceded in death by three brothers, James Soda, Jess Soda, and John Soda, and four sisters, Margaret Matthews, Catherine Marino, Celia Shilling, and Rosemarie DeFabio.

Friends may call from 2 to 4PM Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 4:30PM Friday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Niles with Fr. Dan Cipar officiating preceded by a 4PM prayer service at the funeral home.
