Leo Violette (Koco), 74, of Niles, passed away on April 20, 2023, comforted by his family in the care of hospice.

Koco, was the son of the late Alice and Ernest Violette.  He is survived by his brother Giles, sisters Louise & Gisele, sons Kevin, Kurt, Kristopher, & Robert, 8 grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife Karen and brother Robert.

Koco enjoyed fishing, DIY projects inside and outside of the house, and spending time with friends and family. Being able to get on the water early to fish and then work on projects later in the afternoon would be his ideal day.  A longtime employee through many departments of the city, Koco touched many lives throughout his.

A private burial for the family and a celebration of Koco's life will be planned for at a future time.
