Leona Kromer, 89, of Niles died at 10:25 a.m.Saturday November 26th at Vista at the Ridge Nursing Home in Mineral Ridge.

She was born October 26, 1927 in Steubenville, the daughter of Leo and Catherine Franko Bard.

Leona was a housewife and homemaker and was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Richard W. Kromer, whom she married May 1, 1955, her son Robert Kromer and wife Carole of Niles, two brothers Tom Bard and his wife Loretta of McDonald and Leo Bard and his wife Anna Mae of McDonald, two grandchildren Robert Kromer Jr. and his wife Marianne of Niles and Kristen Holland and her husband Mathew of Liberty and four grandchildren Donovan Jacob, Kennedy Elizabeth, Haley and Riley Ann.

Leona is preceded in death by her parents and sister Regina Nichols.

Private services will be held at a later date.
