Leonard M. Quigley, 72, of Warren, passed away Saturday April 27, 2013 at his daughter's residence in Niles surrounded by his family.
He was born June 23, 1940 in Warren the son of Martin and Louise Archambault Quigley-Alley
He was a 1958 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and employed as a high lift and tow motor operator at Delphi Packard Electric for 33 years retiring in 1991.
Lenny was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Warren, Mecca and Warren Moose, enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, gardening, traveling to Mountaineer Race Track, and was an United States Air Force veteran having served as a Dental Technician for four years.
His wife Judith Bianco Quigley whom he married July 7, 1962 died May 26 2005.
He will be deeply missed by a son Michael Quigley of Warren, a daughter Michele Gibson and her husband Duane of Niles, two brothers, Richard Alley and his wife Beverly, and James Alley, two sisters, Patricia Gerke and her husband William of Niles, and Carol Sankey, five grandchildren, Jessica Quigley, Nicholas Gibson, Ashley Gibson, Jason Gibson, and Emma Gibson, a great-grandson Landyn Michael Kozak, a brother-in-law Walter McCloskey, a sister-in-law Lillian Masciangelo and her husband Nick, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters, Evelyn Brunet, Virginia McCloskey, and Alana Brown, and a great niece Halee Gerke.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 7PM at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in McDonald with Fr. John-Michael Lavelle officiating preceded by a 9:15AM prayer service at the funeral Home.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery where Leonard will be honored for his military service by The Trumbull County American Legion Honor Guard.
