Linda L. Cowger, 76, of Niles, passed away on Monday May 27, 2024 at her home. She was born December 9, 1947 in Webster Springs, West Virginia the daughter of Thonton and Lilly Skeens Tracy. Linda attended Webster Springs High School, was a homemaker, attended Niles First Church of The Nazarene, enjoyed singing and listening to music, and spending time with family and her dog. She will be sadly missed by her husband Doyle Cowger whom she married April 8, 1967, two sons Robert Cowger of Niles, and Chad Cowger and his wife Stephanie of Stow, two daughters Andrea Morris and her husband Steven of Niles, and Tara Mitchell and her husband Jim of Lordstown, two brothers, Richard Tracy and his wife Denise of Stonewood, West Virginia, Earl Tracy of Cherry Falls, West Virginia, five sisters, Sue Cochran of Toronto, Ohio, Eppy Sears and her husband Chester of Diana, West Virginia, Edna Channell and her husband Phillip of Webster Springs, West Virginia, Becky Hamrick and her husband Shane of Webster Springs, West Virginia, Willa Davis and her husband Curt of Webster Springs, West Virginia, Molly Crites and her husband Ben of Craigsville, West Virginia, ten grandchildren, Adam Morris, Siera Morris, Brad Mitchell, Leah Mitchell, Ben Mitchell, Ashley Bennett, Amber Cowger, Nicholas Cowger, Braden Cowger, and Samantha Cowger, two great-grandchildren, Harper Rose Cowger, and Mila Rose Mitchell, and her dog and faithful companion Buddy. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Jane Cowger and Monta Leah Cowger, a brother Dink Tracy, and three sisters, Sondra O'Dell, Veda Hamrick, and Ellen Sturm. Friends may call from 5 to 7PM Thursday and 10 to 11AM Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
