Linda Cordell (Lehman) Huber, age 72, of Niles, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on March 5, 1953, in Warren, Ohio, Linda dedicated her life to serving others, especially the children of her community. Linda was a lifelong resident of Niles graduating from Niles McKinley High School in 1971. Linda spent more than 35 years with Niles City Schools, where her passion and tireless commitment to making school a better place for every student earned her the love and respect of colleagues, parents, and generations of children. There was nothing she wouldn't do to give every child a chance—attending countless events and always offering her full support. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Armeta and Kenneth Cordell. She is survived by her son, Matthew Lehman; her husband, Rick Huber, whom she married in 2003; and her lifelong friends, Gail and Denny Dermer, along with their children Shannon Bergana and Shawn Dermer, who were family in every way that matters. Friends may call from 5 PM until the time of the 7PM memorial service Monday at The Joseph Rossi and Sons Funeral Home in Niles. All who knew Linda and were touched by her spirit are welcome to attend and celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization in Linda's memory. Linda's legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the children she championed, and the love she so freely gave.
